Voluntary service

You would like to get to know Togo yourself? A service as a volunteer gives you the possibility to truly immerse into life over here, together with the local population.

You will be surrounded by people whom you will soon consider to be your family. At the same time, your personal know-how will be of great support for AGERTO, since the local employees tend to lack detailed knowledge.

Your voluntary service will without a doubt have a sustained positive influence on your life. However, you should be aware at all times that you are demanded to work, your stay with us is not a vacation. With a lot of self-motivation, you will be able to move things around in a way that would be hard to accomplish with any kind of job in your home country.

You will be particularly happy at AGERTO if you tend to be a flexible person and are ready to keep your eyes open for possibilities that allow you to contribute in your own way. It is indeed possible to have a real influence here. On the other hand, if you expect your work days to be well-structured including clear instructions, working at AGERTO might not be your ideal option.

Knowledge of the French language of at least an A2-level is a prerequisite to your service.

You can stay with us from four weeks up to a whole year.
